“Midsummer Sky Pond” Rocky Mountain National Park Archival Quality Hand Printed Reproduction of Original Painting
One light and airy midsummer day in 2019, I took a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. During a 10-mile hike through glacier gorge and up to Sky Pond, I was enamored by pristine peaks and gentle, glassine waters. It was the epitome of serenity- I closed my eyes and knew that I had to preserve the moment in a painting. After months of meticulously painting tiny details, I’m happy to offer you this high quality giclee print.
This print is different from any other that I offer, making it limited edition. Unlike my other prints, I printed these by hand. I found a locally owned printmaking studio located in Columbus, Ohio, and became a member. I took classes and learned how to use their machines- I wanted to see the colors myself and tweak it until it was perfect. I wanted to feel the various paper types before selecting what I thought was the highest quality and texture. Through this purchase, not only are you supporting me, but also another local small business. ❤️
