Olympic Reflections Fine Art Giclee Print
The Olympic coast. One of the most majestic places I’ve ever explored. Did you know that Olympic National Park is home to three distinct ecosystems - the rugged Pacific coastline, the majestic Olympic Mountains, and the lush rainforest? It absolutely blows my mind that in a matter of only a couple hours, you can observe tidal pools near Kalaloch beach, drive through the snow capped Olympic mountains in Hurricane Ridge, and of course admire the the massive moss covered Hoh rainforest in between.

The coast especially captured my heart. The beach is covered in colorful rocks, the tidal pools are teeming with wildlife, and the sunsets fade and reveal a whole different kind of beauty at night, including the blue glow of bioluminescent plankton in the waves. The serenity is unmatched.

The painting draws inspiration from a long exposure photo I took, showcasing the smooth ebb and flow of the waves and the reflections of rocks in the water at Beach 4. “Olympic Reflections” is originally 12x16” acrylic on wood panel.
